This week @ St. John's
October 12 - October 19
Dear Ones,

For our Adult Forum  on Sunday we are welcoming Major Rick Williams, who is the director of the student veterans center at YSU. We do a lot with the vets--BBQs, cooking classes, and you remember our kitchen shower. I thought it would help to understand the challenges of student vets and some of their stories. Please come at  9:15 in the parlor.

We have been grieved by all of the tragedy around the world and in our own country, and sometimes we feel helpless that we can't do anything to help people so far away. But after we commit some of our time and treasure to the places of devastation, we can also remember that there are people right here that need our care and support. I am proud that St. John's supports our student veteran neighbors.

See you  Sunday!!  Gayle+
